Areas of work
What you can bring to therapy
You do not need to formulate your concerns precisely before the first session. You can begin with what currently feels difficult, keeps repeating or leaves you without enough inner grounding.

You may recognise some of these experiences
- it is difficult to know where to begin;
- several concerns feel important at the same time;
- you can sense tension but do not yet have precise words for it;
- you would like to understand which format may fit your situation.
How to choose an area
- individual work focuses on your own experience, boundaries and needs;
- a couples consultation focuses on the interaction between two people who attend together;
- group therapy brings relationships with other participants into the work itself;
- the format can be clarified calmly during the first contact.
What the first session is like
The first session is a chance to meet, clarify the situation and consider whether the contact and format feel right for you.
- you may begin with a few words or one specific situation;
- I will ask questions that help clarify your concerns without pressure;
- we will discuss the format and practical arrangements;
- you do not need to decide in advance whether to continue.

The approach is chosen around the person
I draw on psychodynamic understanding, symbol drama, CBT tools and art-therapy elements. Your pace, boundaries and agreement to any exercise remain central.
- a genuine professional relationship rather than a ready-made solution;
- attention to recurring ways of feeling and relating;
- practical tools only where they fit your concerns and current capacity.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a precise concern before contacting you?
No. You can begin with a situation, feeling or question that is most present now.
How do I know which format is suitable?
We can discuss this during the first contact. The format depends on whether the focus is your individual experience, the interaction within a couple, or a group process.
Does a first session commit me to continuing?
No. After the meeting, you can decide separately whether the contact and proposed format feel right.
Can sessions take place online?
Yes. Individual sessions are available online or in person in Odesa; other formats are agreed separately.
What if my concern is not listed among these areas?
The list is meant to help you see the available options, not to limit what can be brought to a session. In your first message, you can briefly name what is concerning you without sharing sensitive details.
Can I know in advance how many sessions I will need?
An exact number cannot be determined in advance. After the first session, we can discuss the concern, pace and format, while the decision about continuing remains yours.
What if my reason feels too small to bring to a psychologist?
You do not have to prove that things are “difficult enough”. What matters is how the situation affects you; this can be explored with care in the first session.

You can begin without a ready-made answer
A short description of what is happening and one practical question are enough. Contacting me does not oblige you to begin or continue therapy.
