Anxiety and emotional exhaustion
When you keep coping, but constant tension is taking too much of your energy
Life may still look manageable from the outside while more and more energy goes into control, responsibility and not allowing yourself to stop. Therapy can offer a careful way to explore what sustains this tension and where your own grounding may begin to return.

You may recognise some of these experiences
- your thoughts repeatedly return to possible problems;
- rest brings guilt rather than relief;
- it feels as though everything depends on you;
- sleep does not restore enough energy;
- irritability and inner tension are increasing;
- other people’s needs remain visible while your own are harder to notice.
What can be explored in therapy
- sources of inner tension and the habit of carrying too much;
- inner demands and the fear of disappointing others;
- contact with your needs and personal boundaries;
- your relationship with rest and the right to pause;
- links between thoughts, feelings, bodily responses and actions;
- recurring ways of coping with pressure.
What the first session is like
We begin with how tension appears in your particular life and clarify your concerns without haste.
- you share only as much as feels possible now;
- we notice what takes the most energy and what already offers some support;
- we discuss expectations, boundaries and a possible pace;
- together, we consider whether the contact and format feel right.

How I work with anxiety and exhaustion
A psychodynamic perspective can make recurring responses and ways of relating to yourself more visible. CBT tools may add clarity to the links between thoughts, feelings, the body and actions. Imagery or creative means are used only with your agreement.
- not reducing your experience to a single symptom;
- not making recovery another demand to pull yourself together;
- finding manageable forms of support without universal prescriptions.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a fully formed concern?
No. You can begin with how you feel, what keeps repeating or what currently takes most of your energy.
Will I receive a list of advice?
The work is not reduced to universal advice. We explore your situation, and practical tools are used only where they are genuinely relevant.
Can I meet with you online?
Yes. Individual sessions are available online or in person in Odesa.
What if anxiety requires medical support?
I work within the limits of my competence. If a medical or another specialist consultation is needed, I will say so openly and help clarify the next step.
Do I need a formal diagnosis before I contact you?
No. You can seek support for tension, anxious thoughts, exhaustion or other changes that noticeably affect everyday life. Psychological work does not require you to begin by giving yourself a diagnosis.
Will I have to give up control or change my habits straight away?
No. First, it is important to understand what is helping you keep going and what it is costing you. Change does not need to happen under pressure or faster than feels possible for you.
Can we know in advance how long the work will take?
An exact duration cannot be determined in advance. It depends on your situation and what you want to explore. After the first session, we can discuss a manageable pace without promising a fixed number of sessions.
Next step
You can begin with a few words
You do not need to explain your whole experience at once. A brief note about what is taking the most energy and one practical question are enough.
